We Media and Democracy

Keep an eye out for stories in the media about Twitter, Facebook, Social media, blogs etc and how they have been active or used in news stories. Keep a record of what you find.

It is really helpful if you have begun to build your own resource bank for use as evidence for essays on this topic.

Foley Sound and an Introduction to Film Noir

This week you need to get your FOLEY SOUND videos finished and uploaded to your blogs, along with a short commentary and description of what Foley Sound is.

Most of you also need to get your RECREATION films uploaded with your evaluations too.

This week we will be watching DOUBLE INDEMNITY after looking at a power point presentation on the conventions and history of Film Noir.

Complete the grid sheet [see green pack] for this film and over the summer do at least TWO more one of which should be DETOUR plus some RESEARCH into the HISTORY and CONVENTIONS of this genre.
